Naqshbandiyya Aslamiyya Spiritual Welfare Organisation (NASWO) is working under the guidance of Khawajah Sufi Riaz Ahmad an-Naqshbandi, the distinguished guide of the Naqshbandi Sufi Order. The charity is the progressive step forward carrying on the charitable work of the venerable Shaykh Khawajah Sufi Muhammad Aslam an-Naqshbandi (Allah be well pleased with him), who established the first centre for spiritual excellence within the UK in 1963.

Historically speaking, the Naqshbandi Tariqah can be traced back to the first of the Rightly-Guided Caliphs, Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (Allah be well pleased with him) , who succeeds the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace) in his knowledge and in his role of guiding the Muslim community.
